Spatial Distribution of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosisin Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia

This study aims to determine the domicile distribution, find out high-risk areas, and risk of drug-resistant tuberculosis patients based on patient location in 15 districts Makassar City from Tuberculosis register data South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office December 2017 – April 2019 period. Gen Xpert rapid or drug sensitivity examinations were used define tuberculosis. The was geocoded by maps Google Earth aggregated per area using Kernel Density analysis ArcView GIS 10.3 software. We found that cases tended be clustered western part City, an with a fairly high population density. There areas highest concentration predicted as transmission TB, around Bontoala District, Mamajang District. Healthcare facilities located hot spots need equipped molecular test conduct tests for all suspected patients. Further research needs carried distribution who are sensitive resistant drugs.
